Judovska skupnost Slovenije (JSS) je krovna in osrednja verska organizacija za judovski narod, živeč na teritoriju Republike Slovenije. Skupnost zagotavlja versko in duhovno oskrbo svojih ljudi. Njeni organi so najvišja telesa judovske etnične in verske skupnosti v Sloveniji. JSS je edina legitimna predstavnica slovenskih Judov.
JSS je pravna naslednica in ima kontinuiteto pravnega subjekta vseh judovskih skupnosti z območja, ki ga pokriva današnja Republika Slovenija.
JSS je polnopravna članica Evroazijskega in Evropskega judovskega kongresa, Evropske unije judovskih študentov, Evropskega judovskega sklada ter ima dogovor o partnerstvu z Izraelskim judovskim kongresom.
JSS se s svojo sestrsko skupnostjo v avstrijskem Gradcu formalno povezuje v Združenju judovskih skupnosti Gradca in Ljubljane (nem. Verband der Jüdischen Gemeinden Graz und Laibach).

Edina sinagoga v Sloveniji je sinagoga Judovske skupnosti Slovenije, ki pripada ortodoksni usmeritvi, in se nahaja v Ljubljani. V prestolnici si JSS lasti tudi edino aktivno pokopališče v Sloveniji.
Pod okriljem krovne organizacije trenutno ni pridruženih društev ali zavodov.

The
Jewish Community of Slovenia (JCS) is the religious umbrella and main organization for all Jewish people that live on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. The Community provides religious and spiritual care for its people. Its boards are the highest bodies of the Jewish ethnic and religious minority in Slovenia. The JCS is the sole official representative of Slovene Jewry recognized by Government.
As the legal successor, the JCS has the continuity of all Jewish communities from the territory of the present-day Republic of Slovenia.
The JCS is an official member of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, European Jewish Congress, European Union of Jewish Students, European Jewish Fund and has an official partnership with the Israeli Jewish Congress.
The JCS is formally connected with its sister community in Graz, Austria, in the Federation of Jewish Communities of Graz and Ljubljana (German: Verband der Jüdischen Gemeinden Graz und Laibach).

The only synagogue in the Country, the Orthodox affiliated Synagogue of the Jewish Community of Slovenia, is located in the City of Ljubljana. In the Capital, the JCS also owns the only active graveyard in Slovenia.
Currently, the umbrella organization has no member associations or institutions.
